About Jack Jackson

I'm an American journalist based in Denmark since 1995.

I write and edit for several print and web publications, and I teach and coach other journalists as well. In my writing, whether I'm dealing with a global policy trend or a small community, I try to make the story as vibrant and alive as it is for the real people involved.

I was trained in the nuts and bolts of journalism on newspapers in the United States, and I learned the theoretical part at two US universities. I've been a professional freelance journalist since 1994.

I deliver clean copy on time. I absorb briefs quickly, and I keep the end readers in mind.
I speak Danish fluently and I have a broad professional network in Scandinavia and the United States.
